Complaints and reporting illegal content
Anyone can report something to us. You do not need an account, you do not need to have used the platform, and you do not need to be the person affected.
What to report here
Anything on the platform you believe is illegal, or breaches the Acceptable Use Policy — including content involving minors, non-consensual use of someone's voice or likeness, hate speech, harassment, solicitation, threats, or indications that someone is being coerced or exploited.
If you are not sure whether something crosses a line, report it anyway. Deciding is our job, not yours.
Report somewhere more specific if it fits
Some reports have a dedicated route that gets them to the right people faster:
| If it is about | Use |
|---|---|
| Child sexual abuse material | Combating CSAM — reported to NCMEC where required |
| Your voice or likeness used without consent | Voice & Likeness Takedown |
| Copyright infringement | DMCA & Copyright |
| A decision we made about your account | Appeals Policy |
| A law enforcement or legal request | Law Enforcement Guidelines |
| Your own personal data | Privacy Policy |
Anything else — or if you are unsure — belongs here.
Emergencies
Contact your local emergency services first. Then tell us at abuse@callmyai.ai so we can act on our side. Do not wait for us before contacting the authorities.
What to include
The more of this you can give, the faster we can act:
- What you saw or experienced, in your own words
- Who or what it concerns — the creator's page, persona name, or the alias shown to you
- When it happened — date and approximate time
- Why you believe it is illegal or breaks the rules
- How to reach you, if you want an answer
⚠️ Report promptly. Call transcripts are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. That window is a deliberate privacy protection, but it means a report about a conversation older than 30 days may arrive after the evidence is gone. If something happened, tell us now rather than later.
You may report anonymously. We will act on it, but we will have no way to tell you what happened.
What happens next
1. It reaches a person. Reports go to a monitored address, not an automated queue that files them away. 2. We assess it against our rules and applicable law. We may look at the relevant transcript within its retention window. 3. We act. Depending on what we find: ending a call, removing, or suspending a persona, restricting or terminating an account, or a permanent ban. See the Content Moderation Policy for the enforcement ladder. 4. We report it onward where required — to NCMEC for suspected child sexual abuse material, or to law enforcement where the law requires it. 5. The person affected is told why, and can challenge it under the Appeals Policy.
If we conclude there was no breach, we may take no action. We will say so if you asked for a reply.
Response times
We do not publish a response time, because we do not yet operate a staffed queue that could keep one. Publishing a deadline we cannot reliably meet would be a false statement about a control we do not have, and we would rather tell you that plainly.
Reports are read and acted on in the order received, with anything suggesting immediate danger or a minor prioritised. Committed timelines will be published here once the queue is staffed.
Requesting reconsideration
If you reported something and we declined to act, you can ask us to reconsider at abuse@callmyai.ai, explaining why.
In the EU or EEA, you may also be able to refer the matter to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, and you retain the right to go to the courts of your country of residence. Nothing here removes rights given to you by mandatory local law.
Bad-faith reports
Reports are taken seriously, which is exactly why deliberately false ones are a problem — they consume attention that belongs to real ones and can be used to harass a creator. Repeated bad-faith reporting may result in loss of access. Reporting something in good faith that turns out not to breach the rules is entirely fine and will never be held against you.
