Voice & Likeness Takedown
If a persona on CallMyAI speaks in your voice, or uses your name or likeness, and you did not agree to it — report it here. You do not need an account. You do not need to be a creator or a fan. You do not need a lawyer.
This is the most serious complaint anyone can bring against a voice platform, and it has its own route rather than being folded into a general contact form.
Why this is separate from copyright
Copyright protects things you *made*. Your voice is not something you made — it is part of who you are, and it is protected by a different body of law generally called the right of publicity. Several US states have also passed statutes aimed specifically at AI replicas of real people.
Because a voice claim is not a copyright claim, the DMCA route does not fit it and would give you the wrong process. Use this page instead.
Who can file
Anyone who believes a persona on the platform uses their voice, name or likeness without their consent. That includes:
- A person who has never used CallMyAI and discovers a persona that sounds like them.
- A creator whose voice was cloned by someone else's account.
- A person whose voice appears in a recording a creator submitted, where they never agreed to that use.
- An authorised representative filing on someone's behalf.
What to send
Include as much of the following as you can. A claim missing some of it is still worth sending — send it and we will come back to you.
- Who you are and how to reach you.
- Which persona or creator profile is at issue, with a link or a description precise enough for us to find it.
- A statement that you did not consent to the use of your voice, name or likeness.
- A voice sample of yourself, if the claim concerns your voice. This matters more than anything else you can send — see below.
- If you are filing on someone else's behalf, your authority to do so.
Why a voice sample matters
We capture a voiceprint — a mathematical fingerprint of how a voice actually sounds — from every creator at the point of joining the platform, as part of verifying that the voice being cloned is the creator's own. It is a numerical measurement, not a recording of a conversation.
That means a voice sample from you can be compared numerically against what we hold. It turns "does this sound like you?" from an argument into a measurement. Most platforms cannot do this. It is the single most useful thing you can include, and it is the reason a claim here can be resolved on evidence rather than on who argues more persuasively.
Sending a sample is optional. We will still review a claim without one.
What happens when a claim is opened
The persona is suspended while the claim is reviewed. It stops taking calls immediately, before we have decided who is right.
We do that deliberately. If the claim is well-founded, every additional call is a further harm to the person complaining — and if the claim turns out to be unfounded, a suspension can be lifted and the persona goes back online. The asymmetry runs one way, so we act first and decide second.
We then review the claim, compare any voice sample against our records, examine the creator's verification and consent records, and reach a decision. Where the claim is upheld, the persona is retired and the underlying voice material is removed from our systems. Where it is not upheld, the suspension is lifted.
We are not able to state a response time. We have no dedicated review team, and we will not publish a commitment we cannot reliably meet. Claims of this kind are the highest priority work we do.
Withdrawing consent for your own voice
A creator can change their mind. If you built a persona from your own voice and no longer want it to exist, tell us and we will retire it. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to justify the decision to anyone.
Retiring a persona stops it taking calls and removes the voice material we hold for it. Records we are required to keep for legal and payment-processing reasons are described in the Age Verification & Records Statement and are not deleted by a consent withdrawal — but the persona stops operating.
Third-party voices in creator recordings
A creator may only build a persona from their own voice. If a recording a creator submitted contains someone else's voice, and that person did not document their consent to it, that is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy and can be reported here.
Appealing a suspension
A creator whose persona is suspended under this policy can challenge that decision through the Appeals Policy. A suspension made under this page is a decision like any other and is appealable.

The law on AI replicas of real people is changing quickly and differs from state to state. This page describes our process — what we do when a claim arrives. It does not attempt to tell you what your rights are in your jurisdiction, and nothing here limits any right or remedy you may have.
