Appeals Policy
If we have taken action against your account, your persona, or your content, you can challenge it. This page explains what can be appealed, how, and what can happen as a result.
Statement of reasons
Before any appeal, you should already know the reason. When we suspend, restrict, or terminate an account or a persona, we give a written statement of the reason — except where providing it would itself be unlawful or would compromise an ongoing investigation.
If you received an action without a reason, ask for one at support@callmyai.ai. That is not an appeal; it is a prerequisite for a sensible one.
What you can appeal
- Suspension or termination of an account
- Suspension or removal of a persona
- Removal or deactivation of submitted material
- Restriction of a feature
- Restriction or suspension of your ability to earn or be paid out
- Rejection of a creator application
- An automatic block applied by our fraud and abuse systems
Automatic blocks are appealable. Some enforcement is applied by our systems without a person reviewing it at the time — a chargeback, a pattern of calls with no purchase, or a payment card used across multiple accounts. You can ask for a human to review any of them. That is a right, not a favour.
What you cannot appeal
- Decisions that cannot be undone — a call that has already ended cannot be un-ended.
- The rules themselves. An appeal argues that a rule was applied wrongly to you. It cannot argue that a rule should not exist. Feedback on the rules is welcome at support@callmyai.ai, but it is not an appeal.
- Removals we are legally required to make. Where the law requires removal or reporting, we cannot restore the material regardless of the merits.
How to file
Write to support@callmyai.ai with "Appeal" in the subject line, and include:
- The account, username, or persona involved
- What action was taken, and when
- The reason you were given
- Why you believe it was wrong — the specific facts, not a general objection
- Anything supporting that, if you have it
Deadline: within six months of the decision. After that we may decline to consider it.
How it is reviewed
Appeals are reviewed by a person, not by the system that made the original decision. Where the original action was automatic, that is the whole point of the review.
We consider your account, the reason for the action, and what you submit. We may ask you or a third party for more information. Review is carried out in a non-discriminatory, diligent, and non-arbitrary way.
Possible outcomes
- Granted — the decision is reversed and, where possible, its effects undone.
- Granted in part — some effects reversed. We tell you which and why.
- Denied — the decision stands. We tell you why.
You will be told the outcome either way.
Response times
We do not publish a response time, and we would rather say so than invent one. We do not currently operate a staffed appeals queue with guaranteed turnaround, and publishing a deadline we cannot reliably meet would be a false statement about a control we do not have. Appeals are reviewed in the order received.
We expect to publish committed timelines once the queue is staffed. When we do, they will appear here.
External dispute resolution
In the EU or EEA, you may be able to refer the matter to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in this policy removes rights given to you by mandatory local law.
Creators established in the EU or UK have additional rights under our Platform-to-Business terms, including a dedicated complaint route for business users.
Everyone retains the dispute-resolution rights in the Terms of Service.
No liability for the interruption
Reviewing an appeal takes time, and we are not liable for loss arising from the interruption to your account — including lost earnings — even where the appeal succeeds. That is set out in the Terms of Service.
